George Harrison says it was the first rock and roll song he heard

George Harrison was a musician and the youngest member of the band The Beatles. George Harrison joined The Beatles when he was 15 years old. George is the main guitarist or melody guitarist in his band. George Harrison was born on February 25, 1943 and died on November 29, 2001 at the age of 58 years. Referred to as the quiet member of The Beatles (the nickname Quiet Beatle) by Beatlemania, but actually George was one of the people who was quite talkative and talked a lot in the band,

Like most teenagers in their teens at that time in the 1950s, who listened to rock and roll songs, George was also influenced by the rock style which generally rebelled and got into mischief. Since he was influenced by rock and roll music, he often visited the record shop near his house, Indirectly, George likes music from his family and the people around him. George once revealed that the first rock and roll song he heard was Fat Domino’s song entitled I’m In Love Again in 1956 when he was still a teenager. “When I was a teenager around the age of 12 or 13, I heard the song I’m In Love Again by Fat Domino. “That was the first rock and roll song I heard,” said George, quoted from Faroutmagazine, on Wednesday, July 13 2022.

Please note, Fat Domino is a rock and roll singer from the United States who is a contemporary of Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, and Bo Diddley. Through these rockers, The Beatles were born as a rock and roll band inspired by their predecessors. Until finally, in 1964 George Harrison met Fat Domino at a music concert in the United States, George and The Beatles at that time appeared on the same stage as Fat Domino. Maybe if there were no Fat Domino, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley or other rock and roll singers, George Harrison and The Beatles would not be the great and legendary band they are today.
